Being Snow Savvy

If you’re like most of us, you have been experiencing the most brutal winter in years, with no end in sight to all the snow we’ve been getting.  We have found that staying warm and looking good can be a really big challenge in college.  The days of wearing sweats and pajama pants to class are long over and, quite frankly, never should have started.  That’s why we’re here to offer you some of our favorite snow essentials.

One of our favorite things to do in the snow is to wear layers because though it is cold outside it’s almost guaranteed that one of your classes will feel like a sauna. Our tips for layering is to start out with a light shirt and layer it with a sweater, allowing you to have options. Add a winter jacket to pull it together, and you’ll be prepared for the snow!

We also really love rain boots for the snow. There are all different types of rain boots ranging from designer to style to height and color, almost all are perfect for the snow so just go with what you love!

Last, but definitely not least, is your winter jacket. A  really simple way to look stylish and to stay warm is to get a basic winter jacket and style it with cute scarves and other winter accessories.

Remember, just because the winter is cold and the snow won’t stop, that doesn’t mean your style has to suffer!
